The Melbourne International Youth Music Competition provides a unique opportunity for young aspiring musicians in Melbourne and abroad to showcase their musical talents, and take part in masterclasses by some of Australia's most renowned and internationally acclaimed musicians.

As a multicultural event, the Melbourne International Youth Music Competition aims to connect young musicians across two continents, Asia and Oceania, facilitating lasting friendships and collaborations for next generations of musicians through musical activities, performances and events.
